I just got a text from someone I haven’t heard from in a while.

He says: Oh hey, I’m gonna be in your hood tomorrow for a work thing

I say: Oh cool, whereabouts? 

H: Hoe avenue, isn’t that name SO funny?

I: I guess. We used to make fun of it in elementary school…

H: So, how is it over there?  I’m gonna be traveling with thousands of dollars of photography equipment. 

I: …you aren’t gonna get robbed. Christ. 

H: LOLOL okay, I’m White so I look like a cop anyway
